STX RZR

STX tasked Mission with creating a 3D animation for their new lacrosse glove release for an upcoming website and adverting rollout. The goal was to show off how this glove is composed of 1 fully intact upper component. In competitors gloves, most of the padding on the upper is comprised of multiple individual blocks. RZR just has 1. To accomplish this we teamed up with Bully Entertainment, they provided us with a animation ready model of the glove. From there my tasks for this project included finalizing texturing, rig, animate and composite.

STX needed a way to show off how their new lacrosse glove would be composed of 1 fully intact upper component to contrast competitors’ gloves, being comprised of multiple blocks.

To accomplish this we teamed up with Bully Entertainment, they provided us with an animation-ready model of the glove. From there I storyboarded how we would animate the glove and execute on the client’s goal. Then I executed the idea keeping the frame simple knowing it would be used on the web primarily to enhance the webpage experience as well as wanting to let the product shine isolated in the video.
